As a therapist, I include not only my education and professional experiences, but also my personal experiences in the way I approach client issues. My often-repeated statement is “every coping skill and stress-relieving technique I suggest is something I have tried myself.” More plainly put, I practice what I preach.
I would like to start blogging about personal inspiration, professional insights, and encouraging interactions that I experience on a daily basis. “Therapist” is the job I wanted more than anything and I worked hard to achieve that goal. Along the way, I have met some amazing professionals and clients, and I would love to share some of those life lessons here.
